Deer Park RV Resort is having its 4th of July barbeque Saturday, July 4th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Pavillion parking lot.  Free hot dogs, chips, cookies and water will be provided.  Bring your chair (& dancing shoes) and enjoy the live music. 

If you’re looking for other entertainment the Deer Park Summer Concert Series is a local festival-style concert held at Mix Park.  The festival will include vendors, local food trucks/providers, as well as a beer garden.  The concert will begin at 5:00 pm, with local youth talent.  The “Headliner” will play from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The dates for these concerts are June 28; July 12 and 19; and August 9, 16, and 30.

Deer Park Fly-In 2026 – July 11:  Saturday at the Deer Park Airport from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  You can expect food trucks, vendors, ice cream and music.  Fire Aircraft, Flyovers and Military Aircrafts.  Flour bombing contest and activities for kids.

Settlers Day – July 25:  Deer Park Settlers weekend begins Saturday at 10:00 am with the main parade starting from East Crawford and concluding at Mix Park.  Following the parade, Mix Park hosts a variety of activities.

The Clayton Rodeo runs both Friday and Saturday nights of Settlers weekend beginning at 7:00 pm.  The Rodeo Facebook Page will have up to date information.

This Tuesday, June 16th at 5:00 pm in the Pavilion will be the 2026 DPRV Resort HOA Annual Meeting.  A couple of things we need to address are Election of Directors and updating our Age Verification Affidavit (55+).  Bring your favorite dish and join us after the meeting for a potluck.  Paper plates, utensils and water will be provided.  Attached is a copy of the agenda for your information.

2026 Annual HOA Meeting Notice and Agenda

– Water Aerobics: Monday–Friday at 9:00 AM.
  – Pickleball: Tuesdays at 9:00 AM. Beginners are encouraged to attend.
  – Golf: Wednesdays after 10:00 AM. All are welcome. If interested, please see Bonnie at Lot 120.
  – Book Club: June 18th at Lot 152. We will be discussing The Rose Code by Kate Quinn.
  – Happy Hour: Fridays at 4:00 PM at the square (by the dog park). Come meet your neighbors! We recently had over 20 homeowners attend. Please bring a beverage and a chair.
 – Board Meeting & Potluck: Tuesday, June 16th. The board meeting begins at 5:00 PM, with a potluck immediately following. Please bring a favorite dish to share.

Welcome back! We are excited to see everyone and have several upcoming activities to share: HOA Board Meeting The first HOA Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 19th at 5:00 PM at the pavilion.
